Marketing is one of the most flexible, high-potential areas where you can maximize a bootstrap budget. There are so many ways you can get the word out about your business, without spending much. Marketing can make or break your startup, so it's good to learn some techniques and utilize proven marketing techniques that cost you little or nothing. 
Marija’s digital marketing, social media and PR workshops are for small business owners and startups with an aim of improving brand awareness, equipping them with most important skills they need to run their own marketing and social media and / or getting more traffic and sales from their marketing efforts.
All workshops include presentation slides (presentation will be done online via video call), supplied materials (worksheets and templates that will help you with your marketing strategy), sharing ideas and 30min free consultancy phone call with Marija Butkovic after both workshops have been completed. 
WEEK 1 - DIGITAL MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY WORKSHOP
During the 3-hour workshop you will learn:

WEEK 2 - PUBLIC AND MEDIA RELATIONS WORKSHOP
During the 3-hour workshop you will learn:

How the press and media operates and how journalists find stories 

How to identify the right media and journalists to target 

How to approach journalists (and how not to) 

What journalists and editors are looking for 

How to build strong relationships with journalists and editors 

The importance of strong storytelling in securing press coverage 

How to write a press release

ABOUT WORKSHOPS FACILITATOR - MARIJA BUTKOVIC 
Marija Butkovic is digital marketing and business consultant who has worked across a range of projects in different industry sectors, including legal, journalism, tech, IoT, wearable tech and fashion tech. She is a founder and CEO of Women of Wearables - first global organisation aiming to support, connect and mentor women in wearable tech, fashion tech, IoT and VR/AR, that went from a small meetup group to a global movement with 20k+ members in 30+ coutries in less than three years. Marija and her businesses have been featured in major tech and business publications such as Forbes, TechCrunch, The Next Web, Huffington Post, Marie Claire and many more, and regularly appears as a public speaker and panelist on conferences, meetups and corporate events. In 2017 and 2018, Marija was was selected as one of the Most Influential Women in UK tech by Computer Weekly. She was named one of Onalytica’s Top 50 Women in IoT and Top 50 Women in VR, and Business Cloud’s 101 Female Founders of Tech. In 2018, Marija was selected as one of the 8 Women Organisers and Influencers in Augmented and Virtual Reality by Augmented World Expo. She currently collaborates with startup accelerators and incubators in London and worldwide on delivering help as a startup mentor and advisor. She is also a STEM ambassador, public speaker, journalist and blogger. Prior to working in the tech industry, Marija was a corporate lawyer and consultant for legal trade journals. She holds a Master of Laws degree from Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka, Croatia, and was also awarded a diploma from the Startup Institute in London.
